The origin of the group of Lodges, started with the owner of Laslappies Boerdery (Farming), Mr. Hermanus Potgieter when a unique opportunity presented itself to add a third Lodge, Beyond Cui Bono? to the 2 existing Lodges, Addo Dung Beetle and Kududu Guest Farm, weaving a spectacular variety of excellent accommodation.
The Laslappies Lodges group became the first group of Lodges to offer travelers and tourist from all over the world, the opportunity to choose from a destinctive collection of innovative Lodges with excellent service and some of the finest accommodation in the country. Addo Dung Beetle is situated only 3kms from the main gate of Addo Elephant National Park. The luxury chalets, bush cabins and rare Dung Beetle Suites are managed by an extremely competent and friendly team.

Beyond Cui Bono is also part of a Recycling Community Project, doing our share to help lower greenhouse gas emissions. We make use of 100% organic vegetables grown in our very own garden.
Soon our vegetables will be available to the public as part of our aim to support the local community.
